Morane-Saulnier firması tarafından üretilmiş üstten tek kanatlı
bir eğitim uçağıdır. İlk uçuşu 1924’de gerçekleşmiştir.
Yeni kurulan Türk Hava Kurumu’nun halkımızdan topladığı bağışlarla
1926 yılında 10 adet satın alınmıştır. 1926 Aralık ve 1927
Ocak arasında gelen uçaklar Türk Hava Kuvvetleri’ne hibe edilmiştir.
Hava Okulu tarafından av pilotu eğitimi için kullanılan
MS-53’ler 1933’e kadar hizmette kalmıştır.

It
is a monoplane designed and produced by the French firm Morane-Saulnier.
Its first flight took place in 1924. In 1926 THK (Turkish Air League)
bought ten of them by the donations made by the Turkish people. The
planes which came in between Dec.1926 and Jan.1927 were presented to
the TuAF as a gift of the Turkish people. They were deployed at the
School of Aeronautics to train the fighter pilots. They remained in
active service until 1933.
