 Golden
Wings 2001 project, targets to make the Istanbul
- Alexandria flight real again reproducing the
BLERIOT plane after 87 years. It also aims to
make documentary television production. The main
reason on this production and flight are to
pinpoint Turkish pilots position in World's
aviation history, who actually have a significant
but overlooked place.- In
addition to all this, the followings will be done
during this flight:

- THK
(Turkish Aviation Establishment) performs
aviation show at every destination point.
- Monumental
stones will be erected at where aviational
martyrdom occured.
- Fethi
Bey's statue will be erected.
- Airshows
will be arranged displaying todays Turkish
aviation condition.
- Project
and subject will be introduced to the whole
world.
